How Verity works in Slack
Everything she does, how to trigger it, and what happens. Anyone in the workspace can use the everyday ones; the owner sets things up and decides what is verified.

@Verity summarize #growth this week, or post that summary in #leadership | She reads a channel or one thread, and posts into another channel when you ask, signed as posted for you. Only channels both of you are in, never one shared with another organization, and at most two posts per request. |
@Verity then a question about her or NOAN | How do I connect Granola, what commands are there, how does scope work: she answers from the NOAN product manual and says so. Something the manual cannot answer is passed to the NOAN team, and she tells you that too. |

Setting up a channel

To use a stack you already have, add its name (/verity customer set Ledgerline ledgerline.io stack Ledgerline account) or pick it in the channel setup form; a stack you choose stays visible wherever it is visible today. /verity customer off removes it. |
/verity scope hide Operations | Hides a stack here; facts in it are never read or shown in this channel. show reverses it, /verity scope lists and offers the picker, /verity scope default hide sets the workspace default. A customer's stack is visible only in its own channel and the home channel unless you show it elsewhere on purpose. |
@Verity make a social image for the launch | Anyone. Up to three finished pictures in your company's own look (colors, typefaces, logo, from your design system), posted in the thread with the post copy. Six layouts, three sizes. Every claim comes from what you said or from a fact. Follow up in plain words: "the second one, square", "shorter headline". Buttons: Another take, All sizes, Save to NOAN. Ten a person a day. Works in channels shared with an agency or client too. Needs a design system in use and, for workspaces installed before 21 September 2026, one reinstall for the permission to post files. |
/verity design connect | Owner or admin. Connect the GitHub repository that holds your design system (a DESIGN.md, tokens, fonts, logo) with a fine-grained token that has Contents: Read-only on that one repository; a token that can write is refused. Verity shows how she read it, with sample pictures, and uses it only after Use this. /verity design shows what is in use, refresh reads again, brand uses the Brand Kit fact instead, off forgets it. |
/verity admin add @person | Owner only. An admin can do everything the owner can in Slack: every setting, the setup page, verifying facts. The owner's NOAN key stays the one connected, so what Verity writes in NOAN is recorded under the owner's name, and her direct messages still go to the owner. /verity admin lists them, /verity admin remove @person takes it back. Up to five. |
/verity delegate @person Customer: Ledgerline | That person decides and verifies facts for the stack or topic named, without the owner. /verity delegate remove takes it back. |
/verity structure allowed, approval or off | Whether facts may create new topics and stacks here: freely, with your approval, or not at all. |

Meetings and customers
The owner connects; then it runs on its own.

/verity feeds add | Keep a fact current from a data source, on a schedule: Stripe, or any public address that answers with JSON or CSV. Keys go in on the setup page (/verity feeds connect), never in Slack; the rest is one form. Verity then messages you the fact exactly as it would be written, and nothing is written until you press Enable. A feed replaces the whole fact each time, so give it a fact of its own. |
/verity feeds every mrr-daily weekly fri 09:00 | Change how often a feed is read, in place: hourly, daily 07:00, weekly fri 09:00 or monthly 15 06:30, in your own timezone. Nothing else about the feed changes. Hourly is the most often. |
/verity feeds, and pause, resume, run or remove with a name | Where each feed stands. An empty or oversized answer is never written: the fact is left as it was, the feed pauses, and you get a message with the reason and a Resume button. /verity feeds off removes every feed and deletes every key. |
/verity help | Everything she can do and how to ask for it, in six areas, each opening in full from a button. Anyone can run it and only they see it. The owner gets the same guide once as a direct message when NOAN is connected, with the one thing worth doing next. |
/verity updates | What is new in NOAN. When NOAN ships something, she posts it once in your home channel: the title, the first paragraph, two lines on what it means for you from the facts that channel may see, a Read more button that opens the full text in the thread, and a link to every update. Never more than one message a day, and never about releases from before she started listening. /verity updates owner sends it to the owner alone, plain drops the two lines, off stops it. Ask her “what is new in NOAN?” any time. |
/verity agents on verity@yourcompany.com | Your own agents, working from Slack. The owner names the NOAN identity the company’s agents work under. From then on, when someone asks Verity for work that needs them, email, calendars, payments and analytics data, web research, other systems, she puts it on the board for them, says so, and they answer in the same thread through the relay. Replies in that thread while the task is open become comments on it, which is how you steer them. Ten a day per person. /verity agents off stops it. |
/verity relay, and the setup page | Your own agents in this Slack. The owner mints one relay token on the setup page; any agent holding it, the open source fleet, the voice agent or your own code, posts here as Verity through this app, only into channels she is in, with no Slack app or bot token of its own. Reading channel history is a separate choice when minting. Revoke it on the same page. |
| An exchange token, on the setup page | With Partner Briefs on, the owner mints up to ten exchange tokens for the workspace’s own agents. One lets an agent see your partner connections, send inside an approved charter, read and acknowledge the inbox and read a thread. It can never connect, accept, decline, pause or close a relationship; those stay with a person in Slack. Revoke on the same page. |
/verity coach on | The sales coach. Every Granola call whose people are not in a customer channel is read against MEDDIC, together with the prospect’s own website and your facts, and the rep who was on the call gets one card in a DM: what the call covered, what it missed, three things for the next one, the questions to ask and a next step. A second call with the same prospect goes in the same thread and opens with what moved. /verity coach framework spin|bant|challenger changes the frame; /verity coach off stops it. Nothing is saved to NOAN. |
/verity tasks on in a customer channel | The actions your side agreed in a meeting go on the NOAN board: one task each, tagged with the customer's name, their contacts attached, a due date when one was said. The same for what the team agrees in the channel itself, with the daily harvest. Assigned to the person named when the board already knows them; otherwise "For: off stops it. |
